Service Learning Team

The Service Learning Team (SLT) is an after-school leadership group in which 7th-12th grade students plan and carry out projects to improve the community. In the process, students develop skills for navigating the real world and realize their own power to enact positive change. In 2018, SLT students succeeded in their mission to reopen Paul Dimmick State Campground in Navarro, and the group is currently working to develop a skatepark in Boonville (check out our website!), in addition to other projects of students' choice. SLT students also have the privilege of attending various field trips throughout the year, including a trip to Sacramento to visit our representatives and learn about the legislative process.

Note that SLT participation is a great boost for college and job applications!

All students are welcome join us on on Tuesdays after school from 2:00 to 3:30, in HS Room 6.
